Spring Term    

  Fire! Fire!

This term our topic is Fire, Fire and we will be learning all about the Great Fire of London in history. We will then look at London today and other UK capital cities during our geography work. In English we will be comparing London today and in the past as well as writing warning posters. We will also be enjoying lots of traditional stories as well as alternative versions of them. Our classroom will be transformed to incorporate a research area where we will be able to find out all about London today and during the Great Fire of London – researching in books, completing quizzes and watching video clips about London using QR codes. We will also have a traditional story area to read alternative versions of stories that we know and to complete activities on our favourite characters. There will also be areas of the classroom to develop our art and DT skills.  

It’s going to be a busy and fun term in class!
