Junior Mosque Visit

On Wednesday the 27th of January, our juniors visited the Jamia Mosque ( Islamic Cultural Centre) in Blackburn.

We had an Imam called Saleem guide us around the mosque and tell us all about the different features, the Islam faith and how it is used on a daily basis!  It was great to see the children discussing the similarities and differences between the Christian and Muslim faiths.

Despite the weather being very wet, we had a fantasic time - thank you  Saleem for being our guide and explaining things so well!  Below are some pictures from the day...
